Mr James Parker’s new casino gets a thumps up from the NSW Planning Assessment Commission (PAC). The flagship of the Crown Casino Resorts, which will also be Sydney’s second casino received the approval from the Commission and the government.
The proposed six-star hotel, which will be built at Bangaroo has had a few changes made to its initial plan by the PAC. The additional changes include more public green space on the southern part of the Bangaroo. The additions to the resort’s master plan also see the western foreshore getting widened by about 30m on the edge of the resort. This is to give the pedestrians a further access into the establishment.
According to the PAC, the changes in the plan means that the public has equal status as that of the private company. The commission concluded its final approval by saying that the Crown Sydney will be a sculptural and elegant signature building.
